The LeBron James celebrity doll depicts him at age 40 as a role model and ambassador for the LeBron James Family Foundation.  It is Mattel’s first Ken tall body doll and the first  doll in the Barbie Signature Kenbassadors™ line of male leaders.  Released on April 14, 2025 as a Black Label doll for $75,  it sold out immediately (mostly to resellers). Mattel did a second release in November 2025 for $81.  The doll was designed by Javi Meabe.

The doll comes wearing a royal blue felt bomber jacket with white pleather sleeves. The body is lined with blue material. The collar and sleeves are banded with blue and white striped knit material. The jacket is emblazoned with faux white snap button, faux white leather pocket slits, decals of patches of his initials, a map of Ohio, his number 23, and the green and gold logo of the LeBron James Family Foundation.  Across the back is a large curved “LEBRON Just a kid from Akron” decal.  Underneath the jacket is a black short sleeved knit t-shirt with a decal of WE ARE FAMILY and another green and gold logo on the front. The t-shirt does not open and must be pulled over the head.

On the bottom are long black and white houndstooth plaid pants with real pockets and cuffs. The pants open in the back with black Velcro.  On the feet are soft plastic blue and white James signature BBZ Nike hi-top basketball shoes with faux black socks around the ankles.

The accessories with the doll are many and detailed.  On the right wrist is a green Promise soft plastic bracelet , on the left a wide banded all bright gold plastic watch.  On the head  Beat™ headphones, a soft plastic black cap with the gold crown logo on the front, and black see through sunglasses.  A fanny pack like bag with a long strap to wrap across the body or around the waist with adjustment holes in the back.

The hair and beard are molded to the Lebron James sculpt. The eyes are painted brown with an inner ring of gold and the black hair is close cut, with a thin mustache and a rounded medium beard.  The arms are painted with transparent black tattoos along both arms.

The doll comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a black plastic waist grabbing clear pole Ken doll stand.

The doll is on a Mattel made-to-move Ken tall body with full articulation.  The doll is taller (13.5 inches), has a deeper/wide butt area and longer legs than a regular Ken.   Regular Ken sized feet.
