The Alicia Silverstone celebrity doll portrays her at 18 years old in the role of high school student Cher Horowitz in Amy Heckerling‘s teen 1995 classic comedy film Clueless. Mattel released the Cher Black Label Barbie doll on July 10, 2025 as part of a two doll series to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Paramount film Clueless release.  It retailed for $60.00 and was designed by Javi Meabe.

The Clueless Barbie series  includes two dolls: Cher Horowitz(Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne Davenport(Stacey Dash). 

Alicia Silverstone in an American actress who got her big start in the 1993 thriller The Crush and her MTV award winning performances in 3 Aerosmith videos. Contract obligations kept her from taking the role of Cher in the Clueless TV series based on the movie and she went on to play Batgirl in Batman & Robin and Kate Fox  in the TV sitcom Miss Match.

The Alicia Silverstone Cher doll comes wearing a replica of Cher’s opening scene classic outfit. The tailored mostly yellow, black, blue, and white plaid suit is made with thin ripstop fabric with pattern stamped on the outside and white on the inside. The tailored jacket has no closure. The matching mini skirt has skirted pleats in the front and opens in the back with Velcro.

Underneath the jacket and skirt is a white short-sleeved knit body suit and a separate cropped yellow knit vest with painted white rivet buttons. Both with Velcro openings in the back. White above the knee socks and white plastic platform shoes form the base.

The hair is rooted long blonde hair parted on the doll’s left.  The face is painted with light gray blue eyes, a pink lipstick open mouth, and golden yellow eye shadow.  Faux white pearl plastic earrings finish the look on Teen Skipper sculpt head. 

Articulation is  Mattel Gigi body at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. High heeled feet with a stiff ankle.

The doll comes with a black plastic flip phone with silver painted button that really flips open and a white backpack plastic purse with fur-like mold.  Also included is a Mattel black plastic base waist gripping stand and Certificate of Authenticity.
