Ncuti Gatwa
The Ncuti Gatwa celebrity doll depicts him at 31 years old as the Fifteenth Doctor from the long running science-fiction BBC Doctor Who television series in seasons 14 and 15. Mattel released the set of two Doctor Who dolls, Fifteenth Doctor(Ncuti Gatwa) and Ruby Sunday(Millie Gibson) on August 1, 2025 for the retail price of $55 each. The Black Label Barbie Signature dolls were designed by Suim Noh.
Ncuti Gatwa is a Rwandan Scottish actor who became best known in his 2019 role of Eric Effiong in the Netflix comedy series Sex Education. He followed that with a role as a supporting Ken in Greta Gerwig’s 2023 Barbie movie to the Fifteenth Doctor. He immigrated to Scotland escaping from the Rwandan genocide in 1994 as a two year old, trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and began his career in UK theater and television miniseries.

The Ncuti Gatwa doll comes wearing a replica of the Fifteenth Doctor’s outfit when he first meets the Ruby Sunday hanging from the Goblin ship rope in the 14th Doctor Who Christmas episode “The Church on Ruby Road”.
The long tan faux leather jacket is calf length and opens in the front. Underneath is a tight short sleeved v-neck collared orange shirt with blue stripes. A white elastic attached to the hem keeps it tucked in between the legs and it opens in the front with Velcro. The tight pants are medium blue with side pockets and open in the back with Velcro. On his feet are white sneakers with orange, black, brown, and tan painted details. No other accessories or jewelry are included with the doll.
The painted black hair is styled to look close cropped. The face is painted on a Basic Ken sculpt with brown eyes and a thin black mustache. The lips are painted natural pink.
Articulation is 13 points on a Mattel Harley Ken body: neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles.
Included is a black plastic base waist clutching doll stand and a Certificate of Authenticity.
