The Melanie Brown celebrity doll portrays her at 23 years old as Scary Spice in the all woman band Spice Girls. The doll was made by Galoob (now Hasbro) in 1998 as part of the On Tour series.

The Scary Spice doll comes wearing a cotton zebra print shorts and tube top with a midi-length, short sleeved collared coat. The tube top and short shorts both open in the back with Velcro. The coat closes with a plastic snap at chest level and is designed to hang open the rest of the way down in the front. A small plastic black button is sewn over the snap for decoration. On her feet are white plastic reverse zebra print knee high platform boots with white soles.  A plastic gold snake bracelet is wrapped around doll’s left arm bicep and a plastic metallic gold ring is plugged into the hand below.

The dolls face is painted with brown eyes with shiny orange eye shadow, black eyebrows, and an open mouth medium pink lips.  The fingernails are painted red.  The tattoos include a ring around the doll’s left thumb, a Chinese character on the doll’s right side of the stomach, and a dragon on left side of the upper back.

The rooted curly hair has three colors and medium length. The front has blonde and brown streaks tied into two horns and wrapped in gold string and tulle trim. The back is curled and has both brown and red sections hanging loose.

The accessories are a metallic Spice Girls banner, silver gray plastic head-set with front microphone, black no lens glasses, and a mini Scary Spice doll in 1/6 scale.  The plastic painted doll is about an inch high and comes in a miniature box replica of On Tour box.  All the writing is readable.

The doll is articulated at the neck, shoulders, hips, and knees.  The legs are are soft rubbery vinyl with click knees and pointed high heel feet. The elbows are fixed at slightly bent angle.
