The Margot Robbie celebrity doll portrays her at 31 years old in the role of (Stereotypical) Barbie in the July 2023 Warner Bros. Pictures  comedy film Barbie The Movie, directed by Greta Gerwig. The ‘Barbie in Inline Skating Outfit’  Barbie The Movie doll was released on August 7, 2023 by Mattel for the retail price of $25.00.   A coordinating Ken doll was also made and released the same day.

Margot Robbie is an Australian actress and producer.  She got her start in 2008 on the Australian television series Neighbours.  Her US breakthrough was in the 2013 Martin Scorsese film The Wolf of Wall Street.  Robbie is also well known for her role as Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe films,  as Tonya Harding in the 2017 film I, Tonya, and as Sharon Tate in 2019 Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”   She was also a producer on the Barbie The Movie.

The Margot Robbie celebrity doll comes wearing a neon inline skating costume taken directly from the movie when Barbie passes through the Barbieland/Real World portal and skates onto Venice Beach.  The doll wears a pink, blue, white, red, and neon yellow, patterned, stretch leotard over matching solid, neon pink, stretch, biker shorts. The doll also has soft plastic neon yellow green elbow and knee pads that have molded plastic buckles and notched straps for fitting and removal.

Tack sewn on her head is a pink visor banded in the same pattern as the leotard.  In the box is a pair of soft plastic neon yellow green Impala inline roller blades.  The inline skates are have painted pink lace detail, a painted white tongue, and pink Impala logo on the side.  They also have four working pink wheels that turn and the doll is very easy to stand and roll while wearing the skates.

The face is painted bright blue eyes with pink lips in a toothy smile.  The long waist length blonde hair is styled with the top pulled back and banded and two side stands with the wavy length hanging down the back.  Translucent lime green plastic loop earrings are somewhat permanently in the ears.  There is a hook at the end to keep them attached, but if you warm the head with a hair dryer or bag it and dunk it in hot water to soften the head you may be able to pull them out without damaging anything.

The body is articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrist, hips, and knees. The torso and flat feet are fixed.

No stand or certificate was included.

The doll was a Mattel Creations and Walmart Exclusive in the United States.
