The Jack Black celebrity portrays him at 55 years old as Steve from the 2025 Legendary Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment film A Minecraft Movie based on the Minecraft video game.  It was made by Mattel and released with the movie in April 2025 at a retail price of $14.99.  Later summer releases were at $17.99 because of the tariff tax.  Steve was the only movie actor made in the full 12 inch size. 

The doll technically doesn’t meet the usual criterion for the museum because the clothes are not removable.  An exception was made because the head sculpt resemblance was so good and the head was removable and modifiable to be placed on a doll body.  The last photos are of the curator’s custom doll with the doll head on a Hagrid doll body with custom made clothes.

The Jack Black figure has molded black and gray hair and beard with a turquoise painted shirt, blue pants, and army green shoes.  The head turns and nods and the articulation is at the shoulders, elbows and hips.  The doll is able to do the side splits.  

The doll comes in an open package box and includes a Minecraft sword. The doll is quite heavy and can stand on its own.
