Patrick Dempsey
The Patrick Dempsey celebrity doll portrays him at 41 years old as the character Robert from the 2007 Disney movie Enchanted. It is part of an Enchanted gift set with Amy Adams as Giselle (featured in the museum) made by Mattel in 2007. Dempsey is best know for his role as Dr. Derek Shepard (also know as “McDreamy”) from the long running ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy.

The Enchanted Patrick Dempsey doll comes wearing a replica of Robert’s Renaissance Ball costume. The thigh length navy coat is decorated with silver paint designs on the front shoulders and cuffs, silver buttons, and silver trim on the front opening, collar, pockets, and cuffs. It is clipped shut with tiny plastic ties which would need to be cut to open the jacket. Underneath the coat there appears to be a ankle to neck long sleeved, white, one piece body suit with a purple vest piece sewn to the front. There us a Velcro opening down the back to remove it. A separate white scarf is tied around the neck.
On the feet are a pair of black plastic boots with slits in the back for removal. No socks underneath.
The dolls face is painted with dreamy, twinkly blue eyes and light natural pink lips in a slight closed mouth smile. The eye brows and sideburns are painted brown. The hair is slicked back with a heavy dose of product in a very Patrick Dempsey style. It has just the right volume to complete the resemblance to the actor.
The doll gift set comes with no extra accessories, no stands either.
The doll is articulated at the neck (just twists side to side), shoulders (stiff straight arms just swing forward and backwards), hips (swing forward and backwards only), and knees (soft rubber legs have 2-3 click joint bends at the knee). The torso, arms, wrists, and ankles are fixed.
