The Jason Sudeikis celebrity doll portrays him as the character Coach Ted Lasso in the Apple+ television series Ted Lasso. The Gold Label Signature Barbie is one of three in the Ted Lasso series (Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones).  The doll was released by Mattel on October 22, 2023 and was exclusive in the US to Mattel Creations and Amazon. It was designed by Suim Noh and retailed for $50.

Jason Sudeikis is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer. Like many of the NBC Comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL) talent, Sudeikis got his start in comedy in Chicago.  SNL hired him as a sketch writer and he moved on to cast member for nine seasons from 2005 until 2013.  He has starred in comedy movies such as the Horrible Bosses, Horrible Bosses 2,  and We’re the Millers.

His Ted Lasso comedy series about the AFC Richmond soccer team has won him multiple Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Awards as lead actor and producer.

The Jason Sudeikis celebrity doll comes wearing a replica of Ted Lasso’s track suit.  The real zip up jacket is navy, lighter blue with red stripes and red knit cuffs. It is lined with white material. The pants are solid navy with an elastic waist band, real side pockets, and straight pant legs. The AFC Richmond patch and sport white logos are prominently displayed on the matching pants and jacket with iron on decals.

Underneath the jacket is a white short sleeved t-shirt with a Velcro opening at the back for easy removal. Around the neck is a one piece yellow molded plastic whistle and lanyard. The whistle is painted silver on the front side and the back end of lanyard is open (similar to a stethoscope) for removal.  It really needs to be taped or polyband-ed down to stay in place.

On the feet are a pair of black soccer shoes with lace molding detail and painted white soles. No socks. A hard plastic 1/6 scale black and white soccer ball is included along with a pair of transparent brown hard plastic aviator sunglasses. The one piece mold is very fragile at the hinges, so needs to be handled with care.

The face is painted with brown eyes, eye brows, and bushy mustache.   The lips are a natural pink. The short rooted hair style is slicked back with product and parts on the doll’s right side.

Articulation is at the neck, shoulders, elbows (90°), wrists, hips (does splits in both directions), knees(90°) and ankles.

The doll comes with a black plastic based doll stand and a Certificate of Authenticity.
